CMP state secretary CP John on Sunday unleashed fresh attack on Opposition leader and CPM veteran VS Achuthanandan over his change of stands in the TP murder case.

Rapping the senior leader, CP John alleged that international criminal Fayas has bought VS' silence after he wrote letter to the Kerala Chief Minister to investigate Fayas' role in the killing of RSP leader TP Chandrashekharan.

John added that Fayas must have used his 'good offices' to influence VS, which must have made the senior leader to change his stands on the case.

There should be an investigation into if Fayas or his aides met VS or his son, demanded John. At the same time, he also asked VS to confirm “if he stands with his earlier demand, seeking investigation into Fayas' alleged role in the TP murder case.”

“VS' volte-face was the cruelest one in the case so far,” added the CMP leader.
