The Cabinet has given approval for a judicial enquiry into the solar case on Thursday here.

The government will seek the service of a sitting judge to head the probe and will send a letter to the Chief Justice regarding this. The government is also ready to hold a discussion with the opposition in this regard if they are willing for it, Chandy said while briefing the media.

The Chief Minister also said that the UDF, in its previous meeting, had decided to  appoint Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishan to make terms of reference of solar case after discussing it with the opposition
