K Muraleedharan MLA said that  Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan must  resign from his current position.

He said that the Chief Minister must take over as the  Home Minister as otherwise the party would face  serious repercussions in the forthcoming Lok Sabha  elections.

He also added that Thiruvanchoor should be given  some other department and that the DGP's claims have  tainted the Home Ministry.
