A lineman was electrocuted while repairing an electric line here following which an FIR was today registered against five persons, including a Sub Divisional Officer and junior engineer of Power department, police said.

The FIR was lodged at Sikanderpur police station based on a complaint filed by his wife, they said.

Sunil Kumar was electrocuted yesterday while repairing the electric line.

In the FIR, SDO Amit Kumar and Junior engineer Vinay Srivastava have been named besides three others, for culpable homicide, police said.
