A man, who suffered injuries after being hit by a rashly-driven DTC bus, has been awarded over Rs 1.6 lakh compensation by a Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (MACT) here.

The tribunal directed United India Insurance Company Ltd, with which the bus was insured, to pay Rs 1,60,900 as compensation to Rajasthan native

Sunil Chaudhary who was grievously injured in the accident in 2013.
