Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan on Sunday said that he had known Abhilash Muraleedharan for the past 12 years.

While reacting to P C George's statement of his son having business links with entrepreneur Adhilash, Thiruvanchoor said his son, Arjun, is a consultant of Abhilash's company. “Arjun was offered the job only on his merits and not because his father was a minister. I am ready to face any kind of probe over this matter.”

“Arjun was offered the job, even before I received the ministerial post. My son works as a consultant in many companies,” he said.

Thiruvanchoor also said that he was one among the political leaders who attended the wedding of Abhilash's brother. He slammed P C George for making slanderous statements.

He called P C George's allegations against him and his son a desperate try to silence the controversy of his participation in a BJP rally.
