Led by Mr. Mohinder Singh Gilzian, President of IOC, USA, a group of NRIs from the USA are campaigning in India to assure the victory of the Congress party candidates in the ongoing elections. “ It is incumbent on us to help the Congress party and take power back to save democracy and its Institutions,” said Mr. Gilzian as he and his team were crisscrossing several states that include, U.P.,  Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Punjab. “ There is a groundswell of optimism in the air that Modi era is coming to an end and true democracy will be restored” Mr. Gilzian added. 

There are also IOC teams from Australia, U.K, Germany and many other countries participating in the campaign. The team also met with Mr. Sam Pitroda, Chairman of the Indian Overseas Congress under AICC and Mr. Himanshu Vyas, Secretary in charge of the IOC in Delhi.  The team also campaigned together with Shiela Dixit, former Chief Minister of Delhi, Bhupinder Hooda, former Chief Minister of Haryana and Ashok Tanwar, President of the Haryana PCC.
