The Sehion team held an English Youth retreat from February 28th to March 1st, 2015 at St. Anthony’s Knanaya Catholic church in San Antonio. It was largely attended by the children and youth of various catholic churches in San Antonio including St. Thomas Syro Malabar church, St. Anthony’s Knanaya Catholic church, St. George Orthodox church and nearby Roman Catholic church. There were separate sessions held for children aged 9 to 12 years and for youth 12 years or older. It was a unique weekend where the youth learned more about their faith and prepared for Lent through participation in Holy Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, action songs, Biblical sessions, spiritual counseling and confession. The participants left with a renewed sense of happiness and hope.
