തന്റെ കൈവശം 1000 കോടി ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നുവെങ്കില്‍ പണ്ടേ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ദാരിദ്ര്യം ഇല്ലാതാക്കുമായിരുന് എന്ന് നു മാതാ അമൃതാന്ദമയി.ഇപ്പോള്‍ നടക്കുന്നത് മതവികാരമിളക്കിവിട്ട് പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങളുണ്ടാക്കാനുള്ള ശ്രമത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമാണെന്നും അമൃതാനന്ദമയി പറഞ്ഞു. പാലക്കാട് പുത്തൂരില്‍ അമൃതാനന്ദമയി മഠത്തിന്റെ ബ്രഹ്മസ്ഥാന മഹോത്സവത്തില്‍ സംസാരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു അവര്‍.
മഠം ഒരു തുറന്ന പുസ്തകമാണ് എന്നായിരുന്നു അമൃതാനന്ദമയിയുടെ പ്രതികരണം. ഉദ്ദേശിച്ച കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ നടക്കാതെ വന്നപ്പോള്‍ ചിലര്‍ പുറത്തുവന്ന് പലതും പറയുകയാണ്. വരുമാനത്തിന്റെ എല്ലാ കണക്കുകളും കൃത്യമായി ബോധിപ്പിക്കാറുണ്ട് എന്നും അവര്‍ വിശദീകരിച്ചു. തന്നെ സേവിക്കണമെന്ന് ആരോടും പറയുന്നില്ല. ഞാന്‍ മറ്റുള്ളവരെ സേവിക്കുകയാണ്. പലരും പലതും പറയുന്നത് വിചാരിച്ച കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ നടക്കാതെ വരുമ്പോഴാണ്. ആശ്രമത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗത്തുനിന്ന് യാതൊരു പിഴവും വന്നിട്ടില്ലെന്നും ഇതൊക്കെ മറക്കാനും ക്ഷമിക്കാനും ശ്രമിക്കുകയാണെന്നും അമൃതാന്ദമയി പറഞ്ഞു.
