Alleging that Congress party workers were "disappointed" with the Home Department, senior leader K Sudhakaran, MP, Tuesday demanded the removal of Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan as Home Minister.

Speaking to reporters here, Sudhakaran alleged that Thiruvanchoor should correct his "mistakes" and if he was not prepared to do that, Congress party and Chief Minister Oommen Chandy should take a decision to remove him from the post.

He alleged that the murder cases of BJP leader Jayakrishnan and IUML worker Shukoor were not handed over to the CBI to help the CPM.

Sudhakaran also alleged that the minister had failed to provide security to Chandy during his visit to Kannur on October 27, in which the CM was injured in stone pelting and was hospitalised.
