ഉത്തരാഖണ്ഡില്‍ രക്ഷാപ്രവര്‍ത്തനത്തിനിടയില്‍ വ്യോമസേന ഹെലികോപ്ടര്‍ തകര്‍ന്ന് മരിച്ചവരില് മരിച്ചവരില് ഒരു മലയാളിയും.പൈലറ്റായിരുന്ന മലയാളി ഫ്‌ളൈറ്റ് ലഫ്റ്റനന്റ് കെ.പ്രവീണിന്റെ മൃതദേഹം കണ്ടെടുത്തു.ആകെ 12 പേരുടെ മൃതദേഹങ്ങള്‍ കണ്ടെടുത്തു. 9 ദേശീയ ദുരന്ത നിവാരണ സേനാംഗങ്ങളും 4 ഇന്തോ തിബറ്റന്‍ അതിര്‍ത്തി സേനാംഗങ്ങളും 4 വ്യോമസേന ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരുമായി 19 പേരാണ് മരിച്ചത്. കേദാര്‍ നാഥില്‍ നിന്നുവരികയായിരുന്ന ഹെലിക്കോപ്റ്റര്‍ ഗൗരികുണ്ഡില്‍ വെച്ചാണ് തകര്‍ന്നത്.
