Bible attaches much importance to the quality of being meek. God almighty gives grace to those who are meek(humble) and grace leads one to faith and that in turn to salvation. Grace is originated from humblenss and results in peace and inheritance. The humbleness and resultant grace enables one to consider others greater than him and thus maintains a peaceful co-existence in socieity. The write up on ‘Athimarachottil’ is really graceful.
Only DBP has the multi facetted, sharp edged wit like a diamond, to show an association between the victorious battle from the Hindu Mythology, Aswamedham, and a symbolic statement from Jesus to Nathaniel, which is only mentioned once in the Bible just by four sentences! He probably has chosen the example of Nathaniel sitting under the fig tree, because in this instance, he wants to invite all Malayalles under the fig tree for ‘Solace’, symbolically’! (Fig tree is also mentioned a few times in the Bible, involving a curse!) Malayalees, finally, have a place of ‘Solace’, and a chance to improve their learning curve. The article finishes with a beautiful message, “A surrender is inevitable following any type of conquest” — something to contemplate, while waiting for the next encounter!!

Very inspiring article. Congratulations Dr. Babu Paul. I still remember the ride in my car from Connecticut to Manhattan New York after the Fokana regional convention many years ago. Also I enjoyed your interview with Holy Bava.
